A Blueprint for change

In 2008, Union Gospel Mission launched an ambitious campaign to transform Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

This is a neighbourhood we know well-we've been seeking to touch souls and be a positive presence here for more than six decades. Our track record, reputation and God’s grace has positioned us to create a lasting change, and to restore dignity and hope. We believe we are the right people, at the right time, in the right place. But we need your help.

THE GOAL

Hope Begins Here

The goal of the "HOPE BEGINS HERE" campaign is to raise $31 million in support of a new facility at Princess Ave. and East Hastings St. and the renovation of our current building at 616 Cordova Street. See our progress.

A Continuum of Services

The new facility and the renovation of our current one will allow us to launch comprehensive, cutting edge services and programming where there is currently a void and to expand current programs that are already successful.
